it's father's day soon where I live!!! I got in the feels and made this! I was inspired by the song because it made me think not only about how Kristopher has watched both his children grow up in front of him but also how, regardless of how separate he and Rory have become, that at the end of the day, he still loves them both the same 👉👈

and he may have let prejudice surrounding werewolves get the best of him, resulting in him wanting for wolves to be diplomatic and not let their beast side out, but all because he just wants his children to be safe 🥺💗💕💖❤️

Alongside addressing general wolf-lore, my next "Deep Dive" post will have an entire section on Jacob Volkov, Lou Howell, Rory Oaklow, and Celene López due to the significant role they play in my personal story and lore around Moonwood Mill. The lore I have for them spans a pretty decent chunk of time, ranging roughly from the time Jacob is 13 - younger than we see here - up until they're all in their 40s (which is where I always start my werewolf save), and there's no better way for me to illustrate that than a visual aid!

Note: The top row is Jacob Volkov, second row is Lou Howell, the third row is Rory Oaklow, and the fourth row is Celene López. The first column depicts each of them as teens (a flashback for the older three, but where Jacob is when you start the game), second column they are young adults (a flash into the future for Jacob, but where the game picks up for Lou/Rory/Celene), and the third and final column depicts them as "older" adults.

Ian: Hey! You’re early!

Jacob: Oh, am I? The flyer said the show starts at 9.

Ian: Well, yeah! It’s exactly 9 o’clock. That means be here by 10:30, silly. That’s ok, I’m happy to have company while I set up.

Ian: Ok, what’s with the shirt?

Jacob: Heh...Amir made me wear it for tonight.

Ian: I should have known. Our guy is something else.

Ian: Aww ouchh...sorry. My arm.

Jacob: Are you sure it’s ok for you to play tonight?

Ian: Yeah, just gotta take it easy. Plus, it’s only 3 songs then I’m gonna take a knee. No worries.

Jacob: [sighs] I feel like shit when we hurt you, Ian...wouldn’t it be easier if you just turned?

Ian: Of course it’d be easier but, I can’t do something like that when I know my heart’s not in it- yet! I still want to tour and be a no name rock star. It’s the only thing I can commit to right now besides you and Mir.

Jacob: Yeah...

Ian: Dude, I respect your culture. Like, alot. I know how important is it to be fully immersed in it and when I join your pack, it’s because I’m ready to dedicate everything to it.

Jacob: No, I get it. You’re right. You’d make a great wolf, Ian. You’re loyal.

Ian: Yeah? Wait, do you think I’d have blonde fur?

Jacob: I don’t think that’s how it works. It’s kind of random.

Ian: So there’s a chance I could be a ginger wolf...?

Jacob: You could, and you’d be so cute.

Amir: Guess who got half off the liquorrr to celebrateeee!

Amir: Like our shirts?

Ian: I love them! I’m glad you’re back in time to see me play, babe. How was Batuu?

Amir: Fun until my little cousin got lost again. I saw at least 20 other kids with leashes on, I don’t know why she doesn’t wear one.

Ian: Maybe it’s because-

Jacob: Sorry, Ian. Can’t get enough of Mir’s scent.

Ian: [laughs] It’s ok. I get it. Wolf stuff.

Lana [bandmate]: You ever get jealous seeing them together?

Ian: I don’t think so. Not anymore, anyway. I love seeing them together. They’re so happy, it makes me happy. We’re happy.

Lana: That’s cool man.

Amir: [giggling] Get over here, Ian!

Ian: Okie!

Just a little interlude before judgment!

In case you haven't seen it, I've been posting little interviews with the cast. Please feel free to send me questions, anonymously or not! I'll put them up in batches between posts.

Most characters have canon origin stories! It's just Elle, L, Brandy, and Morgyn who don't. Caleb isn't wrong about how long it would take to get through it all, but I can make some space at the bottom of the post :)

Most of this comes from dialogue from Werewolves, which I put up here.

Celene & Lou: attacked by Greg while on a date after Lou provoked him - she took the cure, he thought he could ride it out.

Lily: fled into the tunnels when Vlad tried to turn her, where she was bitten by a rabid werewolf. Spent years wandering around feral before Kristopher found her.

Caleb: turned by Miss Hell in a bar bathroom with the door on backwards. It's unclear whether he asked to turn or not, but I'd say most likely not.

Jacob: got lost in the woods as a small child after being traumatically separated from his family. He was hunted by a werewolf and a vampire, and then rescued by Kristopher.

Wolfgang: visited Moonwood Mill to escape the rat race in San Myshuno, decided he liked the werewolf lifestyle, and asked Kristopher to turn him.

Inna: turned by Caleb in the official trailer. Based on promotional material and the paintings from vampires, she seems to have been a thrall for centuries before that, possibly as early as the 1600s.

Darrel: born a spellcaster. Because he has the strong bloodline trait, he must be at minimum a 3rd generation caster.

Emilia: recently ascended according to her household description, presumably by Morgyn, since they're the only sage she knows by default and they're both friends with Grace and Tomax.

Elle: born a vampire during the first half of the Century Conflict. Her parents were former spellcasters who were turned during Operation Eternal Flame.

Brandy: attacked and almost killed by a member of her girlfriend Samantha's coven of origin. Samantha turned her to save her life.

L: an orphaned street urchin. Was accidentally transported to the Magic Realm after pickpocketing a spellcaster and taking his Glimmerstone. She met Keisha and immediately started badgering her for power and secrets.

Morgyn: a teen runaway. They found instructions to get into the Magic Realm in a library book, thought the whole thing sounded extremely rad, made their way to Glimmerbrook, and immediately started badgering Tess for power and secrets.

I wanted a Century Conflict veteran, which is why I made Elle so old. Brandy possibly has a mundane brother, so I didn't want her to have been born vampire. I love foundlings in stories (yes, I'm a big Mandalorian fan, fuck off) so yeah Morgyn and L are foundlings.

The Moonwood, my rotational legacy save, will follow these characters, OCs and townies alike, as well as a few others. It's not challenge gameplay or anything, just a story about people learning when to let go, how to hold on tighter; found family and finding inner peace. True to my love of Sims 4's occult lore, it will be sprinkled throughout and expanded on, fueling a couple of different central conflicts per generation.

Aurora come to Kristopher house to delivered the letter that her grandpa give but turn out she lost it.

Aurora: Yes.I'm Aurora Connell, I'm looking for Mr . Kristopher.Is he at home?

Lily Zhu: He's not in,maybe u can find him at his hang out place nearby, I'm going there too, come with me,I'm Lily Zhu btw.

They walked towards the location that was being told.

Kristopher was fighting with his friend stopped when they approached him. Lily told him that there's someone what to meet him.

Kristopher: Lily told me that U look for me?"

Aurora: Yes..I'm Aurora Connell..Nice to meet u.

Kristopher: So u are Robert's granddaughter right? What makes you want to meet me?

Aurora: My grandpa asked me to delivered a letter for u, wait..

[She pull the letter in her pocket,but nothing in there]

Kristopher: What happen? Is everything ok?

Aurora: I think I lost it.I'm Sorry. [she apologize.

Kristopher: Maybe u left it at ur house. It's ok, U can give me that letter when u found it. Come let me introduce u to my partners

Kristopher asked not to worried about the letter and to avoid her to think about it again, he introduce her to all of the pack member. Aurora thanks to him for giving her opportunity to meet the other pack member.

They all welcomed her to the hang out. And told her if she need anything just come and see them there.

Given that the School of the Untamed accidentally invented Vampires (oops) and then tore the Realm apart trying to uninvent them (double oops) I've always liked the idea that some old blood Casters still hold a grudge.
